For Sale: Restored Piper PA-18 Cubs
Far away in Italy, a fleet of
PA-18s was catching some much need rest time after decades of
service. They seemed forgotten by their previous owners.
When we got the call about them, we could hardly contain ourselves.
As cub enthusiasts, we had bought
hangars and Super Cub businesses. We had struck deals with talented
people with a passion for Super Cubs. And now, we were
presented with an opportunity to own ten original cubs.
We hastily cut a deal and
the next thing you know, we were on our way to Italy to load up two containers and
get these beauties to Alaska. Ten sets of wings. Ten
fuselages. Ten engines. Yes. Ten vintage cubs.
The business thought behind these cubs was simple: when you work on
Cubs, sometimes, you have too much business and sometimes, things
are a bit slow. We figured we would buy these Cubs and work on
them to smooth out the year's work and make our business more steady
and predictable. Besides, we are addicted to Super Cubs! And
we know you are too! This website shows a bunch of the ways we
may be able to work together on your Cub.
